Now we don't ice fish and it's too cold to fly fish or fish on the lake, but somehow we've found a way to fish in the dead of winter.
What a catch we found too!
Todd took part in the activity of toilet fishing the other night. After the plunger didn't clear up the problem we went looking for other explanations. B (8) shared with us a little clue. He said that C (22 months) was putting toys down the toilet and flushing a few days ago. Why he didn't come tell us right away is one of those mysteries we may never uncover. But now that we knew what we were working with, Todd went to work.
After about 15 minutes he fished out of our toilet a bath fishy squirt toy. The fishy squirt toy was laid to rest in the trash recepticle and no child mourned it's loss and the dirty job of toilet fishing can now be added to Todd's resume.

Yuck!! At least it was just a toy instead of other things that could have caused the clog like a whole roll of toilet paper that Joel and Brianna sent down the toilet. That was a lot of fun.
Toilet fishing is never fun. My toddler has stuck with toilet paper clogging the toilet.
