My garden

We are doing square foot gardening for the firt time this year. I like to call it gardening for dummies, as I haven't really messed the garden up. I've never been able to grow anything before. These I actually remember to water!

Well summer is here!

Well in the thick of things and hardly any time to post anymore. The boys are all in swimming lessons right now. They are putting their hard work to use in the blowup kiddie pool in the backyard. I'm so glad all my neighbors have kids, because boy they sure can be noisy! Now I can understand the appeal of retirement communities, because sometimes I'd like to escape the noise myself!

1st Official Day of Summer Break!

The beginning of summer break is always filled with wild dreams of ice cream parties and lemonade stands, picnics and camping trips! And my kids wanted to plan them all yesterday! Non-stop talk about what the "plan" or schedule was! What fun thing were we going to do today! Not anything I can't normally handle, but with 4 of them all talking at once, all day long...it's exhausting!
